WU/Vienna University of Economics and Business will host this year’s ERSA Congress, August 23-26.  The registration portal is now open, and the program offerings include pre-conference workshops including strategies for managing the research project workflow using open source software, getting your research published, and communicating research to decision-makers and the public.

Plus my colleague Alex Auer, part of the local organizing committee, has been hard at work organizing a terrific array of technical excursions. These site visits will investigate infrastructure projects, urban development, and social integration projects where participants will meet the people who are shaping Vienna’s future.

Students, faculty and staff are busy preparing to welcome 1,000 congress participants to our city and campus.  The university even produced a slick promo video to tempt you to join us:
